Kill Them All – How to Put an End to Your Old Self-Destructive Habits!

Ever since I broke up with my girlfriend, I’ve noticed that I’ve gone back to some old and bad habits. Don’t get me wrong, it’s not like I gave up on life and am now sitting around all day eating Cheetos and watching Netflix.

No, I still work out, eat healthy food, and create content for my project. These are habits that have been so deeply ingrained…it’s abnormal for me to not do them.

It’s the new habits that I’ve tried forming before the break-up that have been difficult to maintain.

When we lose the person that has been keeping us accountable for our actions, the idea of continuously putting effort to form new habits might fade away. There is a certain unquantifiable emotional toll that this type of experience takes on us. With the limited amount of will power that we have everyday, making consistent break-throughs that deviate from your day-to-day while trying to move on can prove to be difficult.

I’ve said it many times before: being aware of it is the first step. It’s time to take on that single-minded focus and take massive amounts of action to become great.

Forming a new habit doesn’t happen by putting in little spurts of effort here and there – it forms from being truly dedicated and focused to the point that we’re always trying to find creative ways to be more consistent.
